Job summary

Everyday Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Leader to coach team members during the shift, execute brand standards, and deliver outstanding guest service. You will set goals, assign tasks, and motivate staff by providing timely feedback to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include supporting the Restaurant Manager, ensuring food safety, managing inventory, handling cash, training team members, and resolving customer issues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English or the local language you serve.
• Leadership experience in retail, restaurant or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution.
• Ensure Brand standards are met throughout shift including preparation of food and beverages.
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to restaurant team members.
• Complete shift deployment plans to ensure positions are adequately supported.
• Coach team members with timely, constructive feedback.
• Delegate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
• Support training of restaurant team members as needed.
• Oversee franchisee safety, security and profitability policies throughout a shift.
• Communicate with the next Shift Leader to prepare them for the shift.
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met.
• Manage Inventory throughout the shift.
• Provide great guest service and coach team members to do the same.
• Handle customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies, resolving issues quickly.

Education

HS Diploma or GED preferred
