Job summary

CVS Health in McAllen, TX is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will support the Store Management team, supervise staff in the absence of a manager, and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.

The role emphasizes supervision, communication, merchandising, and resolving customer questions with care. Flexibility is required for early mornings, overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in collaboration with store management and crews.
• Supervise the store staff by directing and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively between management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote CVS customer service culture.
• Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure positive shopping experiences.
• Merchandise and price merchandise, stock shelves, and manage displays and inventories.
• Reset departments following planograms.
