Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support store management in driving execution and performance while delivering outstanding customer service. When no manager is onsite, you lead the store staff, ensure opening and closing procedures are completed, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

This full-time role in Rhode Island requires flexibility, strong communicator and ability to supervise teams, price merchandise, stock shelves, and maintain a welcoming, compliant shopping

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store staff when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite and ensure smooth store operations.
• Supervise the store crew by directing and following up on all activities.
• Communicate information effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints and promote CVS customer service culture.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves; execute displays and inventory for weekly, promotional and seasonal items.
• Reset departments following planograms (POGs) and ensure proper sign display.
• Support opening and closing procedures to ensure store readiness.
