Job summary

Legal Sea Foods in Braintree, MA is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor to oversee HOH operations, supervise hourly staff, ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and deliver outstanding guest service. You will schedule and delegate tasks, assist with hiring, manage clock-ins, handle guest concerns, and train new hires on service, cleanliness, and allergen policies.

Experience in a fast-paced restaurant with POS/KDS systems is preferred to maintain smooth service and guest

Qualifications

• Must perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant.
• Must handle guest incidents/complaints.
• Must be articulate and knowledgeable about sanitation inspections.
• Knowledge of Legal Sea Foods menus and allergy policies.
• Proficient with POS and Kitchen Display Systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leads by example with good judgment.
• Maintains professional demeanor and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Leads HOH shift and HOH Department team to ensure operations.
• Manages staffing and scheduling, clock-in/out practices.
• Assists with hiring processes and onboarding.
• Delegates tasks and manages shift assignments.
• Addresses team member relations and escalates as needed.
• Supports hourly staff on POS and KDS use.
• Coordinates customer service to encourage guest return.
• Provides hospitality and handles guest concerns during shift.
• Enforces safety, sanitation, and respectful workplace standards.
• Trains new hires on service, sanitation, and allergen policies.
