Job summary

ADM Lincoln, NE is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead a production team in a salaried exempt role. The position requires directing daily production and maintenance, coordinating shift schedules, and driving safety and efficiency improvements. Applicants should have strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills and be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Base pay offered ranges from $58,100 to $108,000, with additional benefits. Background check is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience leading or supervising people preferred.
• Self-starter capable of independent decision-making with minimal oversight.
• Results-driven mindset to achieve leadership goals.
• Ability to motivate and engage direct reports and demonstrate leadership across plant personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift team with direction, motivation, communication, training, coaching and discipline per site guidelines.
• Schedule team shifts and vacations; ensure cross-training for safe, efficient operations.
• Communicate shift performance, downtime, root cause analyses, and incident reports as needed.
• Promote safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards through coaching and programs.
• Direct daily production and maintenance activities; report defects and safety/environmental issues.
• Act as person in charge during shift, providing technical guidance and support.
