Job summary

Lincoln Industries in Lincoln, NE seeks a Lead Operator to serve as the primary resource for team members and process leader for specific production lines. You will coach, instruct and coordinate activities to achieve line metrics and maintain process quality.

You may train new people in quality, safety and environmental work instructions and provide feedback on their performance, while monitoring production, safety practices and paperwork to ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1 year of related process experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Lead operator assigned to plating, polishing, assembly, coating or other production areas.
• Maintain time and production documentation.
• Communicate among team members – turnover meetings and ongoing communication.
• Ensure quality procedures are followed for product quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance and participation.
• Contribute to performance feedback and participate in reviews.
