Job summary

Papa John's International is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and stations to ensure high quality products and customer service, driving restaurant profitability. You will execute company policies, procedures and systems while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and ethical practices.

Responsibilities include ensuring adequate shift coverage, delivering feedback, maintaining product quality, customer service, cleanliness and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and emergencies arise.
• Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines and duties for each station including dough management, accuracy and proper portioning.
• Contributes to achieving the company's product goal and meets customer needs.
• Exemplifies core values and maintains a positive attitude.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and provides immediate feedback to correct problems.
• Contributes to profit goals by managing costs and inventory using company systems.
