Job summary

Miguel’s Restaurant in California is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the team on each shift alongside the GM/AGM, overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations and ensuring outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory experience in food service.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English communication.
• MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate with GM/AGM to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Communicate with next shift supervisor to ensure smooth handover of team and business.
• Assist GM with interviewing and hiring of new team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and rally the team to maintain quality.
• Enforce workplace rules per Miguel's Restaurants Handbook.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus for guest interactions.
• Maintain office duties and required paperwork.
