Job summary

Miguel's Restaurant is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead front-of-house and back-of-house operations during a shift, partnering with the GM/AGM to deliver excellent guest experiences. This role acts as a key development path toward senior leadership within the team.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating shift handovers, assisting with hiring, and ensuring adherence to the employee handbook while delivering outstanding service in a busy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication to effectively lead a team with predominantly English-speaking guests.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff with GM/AGM to ensure shift performance.
• Coordinate handover with the next shift for team and operations.
• Assist GM with interviewing and hiring team members.
• Rally the team and provide exceptional guest service.
• Enforce rules per the Employee Handbook.
• Bilingual Spanish understanding is a plus and helpful for guests.
