Job summary

ALPLA Group in Wisconsin seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee the production area, coordinate tasks, and ensure peak efficiency while meeting quality and safety standards. You will supervise subordinates, drive training, and coordinate staffing to maintain smooth shift transitions.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and continuous improvement within a global packaging leader. Experience in plastics manufacturing and a strong process mindset are valued.

Qualifications

  • Min High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical engineering background.
  • Supervisory experience required, preferably in the plastics industry.
  • Good process knowledge.
  • Ability to train personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Run Production area.
  • Ensure goods are produced and packaged in correct quantities in accordance with agreed specifications.
  • Accurately records goods produced and problems encountered during shift to ensure smooth changeover of shifts.
  • Performs mold changes with the Machine Operator.
  • Ensures the quality of the product.
  • Ensures all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures safe working practices by following company regulations.
  • Lead the Team and ensure the team works together efficiently.
  • Assess training needs of staff and ensure execution of training.
  • Ensure adequate staffing to cover absenteeism and holidays.
  • Record time and attendance of team.
  • Perform performance evaluations on a regular basis.
  • Attend meetings with Production Manager.
  • Review employee concerns with the Production Manager.
  • Maintain good housekeeping within department.

What Will You Enjoy Doing
