Job summary

ALPLA Group in Saint Peters, MO, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to coordinate the production team on a rotating 6:30pm – 7:30am schedule. You will oversee line operations, ensure quantities meet specs, and record shift outcomes.

This role emphasizes safety, training, and teamwork within a family-owned global packaging leader offering strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical engineering background preferred.
• Supervisory experience in manufacturing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all shift tasks to maximize equipment performance.
• Run production area and ensure correct quantities per specifications.
• Record output and shift issues to enable smooth changeovers.
• Perform mold changes with the Machine Operator and ensure product quality.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure team adherence to procedures.
• Lead a team, assess training needs, and manage staffing coverage.
• Record time attendance and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Shift: 6:30pm - 7:30am (Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule)

What Will You Enjoy Doing

• The Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate all tasks of subordinates and to ensure all equipment is operating at peak efficiency to meet company assigned goals
• Running Production area
• Ensures goods are produced and packaged in correct quantities in accordance with agreed specifications
• Accurately records goods produced, and problems encountered during shift to ensure the smooth changeover of shifts
• Performs mold changes with the Machine Operator
• Ensures the good quality of the product
• Ensures all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures
• Ensures all employees work in a safe manner by following company regulations

  • Ensures team works together as efficiently as possible

  • Ensures adequate staffing to cover absenteeism and holidays, as well as normal operations

Education/Experience:
