Job summary

ALPLA is seeking a Production Supervisor at our Iowa facility to supervise and coordinate all tasks of subordinates and ensure equipment runs at peak efficiency to meet goals. You will lead production area operations and ensure quantities align with specifications.

Qualifications

• Min High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical engineering background.
• Supervisory experience, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Good process knowledge.
• Ability to train personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all tasks of subordinates and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
• Run production area and ensure correct quantities in accordance with agreed specifications.
• Record goods produced and problems encountered during shift to ensure smooth changeover of shifts.
• Perform mold changes with the Machine Operator.
• Ensure the quality of the product and that all safety and company policies are followed.
• Lead the team and ensure efficient collaboration; assess training needs and ensure execution.
• Record time and attendance; conduct regular performance evaluations and attend Production Manager meetings.

What Will You Enjoy Doing

To supervise and coordinate all tasks of subordinates and to ensure all equipment is operating at peak efficiency to meet company assigned goals.

• Running Production area
• Ensures goods are produced and packaged in correct quantitiesin accordance withagreed specifications
• Accurately records goods produced andproblemsencounteredduring shift to ensure the smooth changeover of shifts

• Maintains good housekeeping within department
