Job summary

ALPLA Group in Iowa is seeking an entry-level quality associate focused on product/ process verification and data-driven quality control. You will learn ALPLA terminology, conduct bottle tests, and perform routine checks while supporting line clearance and documentation workflows.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training participation, and adherence to safety standards. Prior lab exposure is welcome, with a path for growth in a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

  • Education: minimum education of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience with physical lab testing equipment, preferred.
  • Skills: computer basics, passing ALPLA assessment scores, ability to work well with others, good decision making with minimal supervision, ability to multi-task, good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Knows ALPLA bottle terminology.
  • Conducts bottle testing and understands customer specifications.
  • Performs routine quality checks.
  • Completes equipment verifications.
  • Perform line clearance process.
  • Can properly complete paperwork and standards (basic).
  • Navigates document management system.
  • Understands IMS basics.
  • Understands OPEX basics.
  • Can complete COA review and preparation.
  • Understands CAQ basics.
  • Understands statistics basic and/or intermediate as required by location.
  • Manages internal and external defective products.
  • Understands AQL and sampling plans.
  • Understands problem solving basics.
  • Participates in RCAs.
