A leading company in health services seeks a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Riverview, Florida. This entry-level role prepares candidates for supervisory positions by focusing on management skills, customer service, and operational tasks. Successful trainees will be promoted to Supervisor positions, overseeing store functions and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, complete basic operations and management training, and learn about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees become eligible for promotion to open Supervisor positions. These roles support store management in executing store operations and enhancing performance while fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Supervisor leads staff, ensures smooth store operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. The role also requires experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, dependent on experience, education, and location.
