CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare for supervisory roles. This entry-level position focuses on customer service and management training, with responsibilities including supervising staff and driving store performance. Ideal candidates have strong communication and analytical skills, flexibility in work hours, and a high school diploma.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed, completing basic management and operations training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team by driving store execution and performance, and by focusing on excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills are preferred. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed is required.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
