CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee. This entry-level, short-term position is designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles. The trainee will engage with store management, oversee store operations, and enhance customer service standards. Successful completion could lead to supervisory promotions.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key business aspects, including customer loyalty and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisor positions. These roles support store management by driving store execution and performance, focusing on excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in retail preferred. Deductive reasoning, analytical, computer, and advanced communication skills necessary. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Additional Information: Pay range reflects base hourly or annual salary; actual offer depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
