The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completing management training, and understanding key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through excellent service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by driving store performance and ensuring smooth operations, especially in the absence of a manager, where they lead staff and oversee opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
