CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to prepare for future supervisory roles. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, completes training in basic operations, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support store management in executing store operations and enhancing performance, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed is required.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
