CVS Health is seeking an entry-level Shift Supervisor Trainee in Pollock Pines, California. This position aims to develop supervisory skills through management training and customer service excellence. The role includes overseeing store operations, enhancing customer loyalty, and ensuring efficient service delivery. Applicants must have a high school diploma and retail experience, with flexibility for varied shifts.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and enhancing customer loyalty through excellent service. In the absence of a manager, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
