Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations across our travel plazas. You will manage team members, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold all brand standards and food safety requirements.

In this role you’ll train new hires, handle cash and POS transactions, and maintain product quality. Flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience is required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to engage with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
