Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Shift Supervisor to assist the store manager, lead associates, and ensure customers receive excellent service in a friendly, community hardware store.

This role requires prior retail supervisory experience, preferably in hardware/home centers; the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours. You may open/close the store in the absence of the manager on duty and help with policy questions.

Qualifications

• Retail supervisory experience required.
• Hardware/Home Center experience a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and stand/walk up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist and/or fill in for the manager on duty.
• Complete assigned projects and ensure tasks are done by associates.
• Answer customer requests beyond what front line staff can answer.
• Open/close store in absence of MOD.
• Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service.
