Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure top-notch customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. You’ll train new hires and monitor cash handling procedures while ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

The role requires strong leadership, reliable attendance, and the ability to work flexible hours across days, nights, weekends and holidays in a travel plaza environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, energetic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures and checklists.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, and uphold cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members and ensure policy compliance.
