Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor to lead with craft and heart, ensuring a welcoming store environment for the community. You will coach and direct team members, oversee food and beverage preparation, and uphold quality, safety, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
• Ability to direct the work of others
• Effective oral communication skills
• Knowledge of the retail environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make the Starbucks store a welcoming space for the community
• Direct the work of team members and coordinate tasks to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure quality beverages and food prepared to standard recipes or customized for customers
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; comply with store policies and safety standards
