Job summary

Starbucks Corp. is seeking a shift supervisor to lead a coffeehouse team and deliver a welcoming experience for customers in the community. You will oversee beverage and food preparation, ensure safety standards, and coach partners to maintain quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring six months of customer-facing experience, ability to manage tasks, and strong communication. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for growth within a supportive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others and strong oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment, store policies, quality beverages and food safety.

• Lead shift supervision to ensure quality beverages and food products.
• Direct and coordinate the work of team members during shifts.
• Maintain store safety and accuracy in cash handling and security procedures.
