Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor to lead daily operations and foster a welcoming community space. You will coach team members, ensure beverage and food quality, and manage cash handling and safety on shift.

Qualifications

• Maintenance of regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• Adherence to store policies and standards including quality beverages/food, cash handling, safety and security.
• 6+ months experience in a role with high customer interaction.
• Experience coaching food/beverage prep to standard recipes, including substitutions and variations.
• 6+ months experience delegating tasks to 2+ employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and model craft and heart in customer interactions.
• Ensure consistent preparation of beverages and food to standard recipes.
• Uphold store policies, cash handling, and safety/security practices.
