Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a shift supervisor to lead a busy, welcoming coffeehouse and uphold the craft and heart of the brand in Joliet. You will model warm hospitality, ensure beverage and food quality, and coach teammates during every shift.

This role requires prior customer-facing experience, flexibility across early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, and the ability to delegate tasks while maintaining store safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer-facing experience.
• 6+ months of experience delegating tasks to others and coordinating 2+ employees.
• Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift with craft and heart to create a welcoming space for customers.
• Prepare and coach beverage/food preparation to standard recipes or customer requests.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate the work of teammates across the shift.
• Uphold store policies, cash handling, safety, and security during operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive relationships in the community.
