Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Operations: supervise restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Maintain standards for food quality, guest service, and restaurant cleanliness.
• Monitor operations and adjust as needed to keep service running efficiently.
• Lead by example with professionalism, teamwork and a strong work ethic.
• Assist in training crew members under management.
• Provide guidance to ensure procedures and expectations are understood.
• Motivate the team to deliver excellent service to guests.
• Step in and assist with crew duties to keep operations running smoothly.
• Conduct brief team meetings to review goals, promotions, procedures and expectations.
• Share updates on operations, safety and training with team members.
• Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive, respectful environment.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure proper coverage and efficiency.
• Manage labor usage to meet company labor cost standards.
• Adjust assignments and workflow to maintain productivity and speed.
• Help control inventory levels and ensure product availability.
• Follow guidelines to maintain product rotation and storage.
• Assist with inventory tracking to meet GAP standards.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are properly used, cleaned and maintained.
• Follow preventive maintenance procedures and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe restaurant environment.
• Take responsibility for cash handling procedures during shifts.
• Ensure registers, safe counts and bank deposits are accurate.
• Enforce proper cash control to protect company assets.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and reflects professionalism.
• Follow HR policies, sanitation standards, safety guidelines and security procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
