Better Buzz Coffee in Scottsdale is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations with a focus on hospitality and efficiency. You’ll manage schedules, supervise staff, and ensure the highest guest experience while balancing deposits and keeping the team motivated.

The role pays base $17.00/hour plus average tips around $4.00/hour, totaling about $21/hour on a good day. Full-time hours include nights, weekends and holidays with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Previous fast paced coffee experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Drive-Thru experience is preferred.
• Guest service focused, solution oriented.
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service.
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be available to work 28 hours/week including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work a mixture of open, closes and mid-shifts as dictated by the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service.
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards.
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable.
• Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty.
• Lead store cleanliness and safety – always ready for guests and teammates.
• Balance and manage deposits; inventory and waste management.
• Adhere to opening and closing duties checklist and procedures.
