Applegreen Group in New York is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure excellent customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. The role involves training new team members and monitoring cash handling and compliance across duties.

You will supervise team activities, manage POS transactions, and perform a range of food prep and kitchen tasks while maintaining high service levels and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, storage, and temps.
• Handle kitchen tasks: prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or issues.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
