Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. in Moraine, OH seeks a Shift Supervisor to oversee production—focusing on safety, quality, and productivity—and to lead a team of associates on the shop floor. The role requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience and a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities include pre-shift meetings, guiding the assembly of finished products, mentoring staff, maintaining 5S standards, and ensuring PPE compliance. Forklift operation certification is valued.

Qualifications

• Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin.
• Ability to read, understand and comprehend safety rules and operating instructions.
• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift operation certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the assembly process of finished products.
• Provide guidance and leadership to personnel and motivate Associates.
• Maintain grid whiteboard and direct Associates on tasks.
• Oversee glass auditing and Plex entry; enforce quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned; maintain safety and compliance.
