Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. seeks a Shift Supervisor for the Moraine, OH facility. The role oversees production and personnel, enforces safety, quality standards, and cost controls to meet daily KPI targets.

You will coordinate a multi-functional team, manage training, and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures. Responsibilities include planning with the Lead Supervisor, guiding safety practices, and maintaining accurate production records.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years manufacturing experience or equivalent training.
• High School Diploma or GED or above.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to speak effectively and interact with team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Report to Lead Supervisor and organize production planning.
• Ensure plant safety, guide safety management and environmental sanitation.
• Manage KPI to meet production and cost targets.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and report issues.
• Solve production issues and coordinate personnel to resolve them.
• Assist financial and statistics in stock taking and bonus management.
• Oversee multi-position training and training follow-up.
• Collect and analyze shift production data and report findings.
• Implement 5S and on-site visual management for safety and order.
• Prepare, review, and import production reports into the system.
• Maintain accurate warehouse materials records and system quantities.
• Identify hazards and control methods in the work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all management systems and procedures.
• Sort and store waste properly.
• Other duties as assigned.
• This role is a 2nd shift position.
