Job summary

Panera Bread Covelli Family Ltd. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced neighborhood bakery‑café. Your role focuses on driving sales, ensuring guest satisfaction, and building a strong team through coaching and mentorship.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in fast/casual or hospitality, and a proven track record of hiring, training, and leading staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining Panera’s standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the fast/casual, full-service or hospitality industries.
• Proven ability to hire, motivate and retain staff.
• Comfortable leading a team and coordinating front- and back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
• Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability.
• Creating and executing staff development.
• Coaching and leading your team throughout the shift.
• Recruiting, training and motivating staff.
• Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's standards.

Typical work activities:

Expectations:

• Ideal candidate(s) will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the fast/casual, full-service or hospitality industries
• The ability to work and create a fun, fast paced guest driven environment
• Proven team leader to hire, motivate and retain staff
• Daily hands on experience of all FOH/BOH operations
• Stable work history is required
• Minimum 18 years of age
