Applegreen US Welcome Centers in the United States is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure top-tier customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety requirements.

You’ll train new team members, manage cash handling, and handle daily opening/closing tasks, while maintaining knowledge of plaza offerings and cross-selling opportunities. This role offers growth within a nationwide network and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in line with policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments accurately and follow cash handling rules.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks: prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
