Job summary

Del Taco is seeking a Shift Manager to support the GM in training the next generation of leaders and ensuring a top guest experience. The role focuses on coaching 1–7 team members, upholding quality, service, and safety, and driving operational excellence across shifts.

The ideal candidate can lead, communicate effectively in English, handle multiple tasks, and maintain a cheerful, professional environment while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a quick service environment with guest service focus.
• Ability to lead and train staff and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience supervising or coordinating a restaurant team.

Responsibilities

• Support GM in supervising team across quality, guest service, cost and safety.
• Run shifts and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Oversee station functions and record-keeping.
• Supervise 1 to 7 team members and hire decisions as needed.
• Maintain Employer of Choice culture and develop staff.
• Explain menu items and use POS to record orders and payments.
• Follow food safety, OSHA, and local health codes.
