Job summary

Joe & The Juice in Los Angeles is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily store operations with energy and high standards. You’ll oversee production, fulfillment, delivery, and catering on shift, ensuring smooth performance and engaging guest experiences.

You will manage a team, coach performance, and uphold food safety and quality across all tasks, while communicating clearly with the Store Manager and supporting overall store growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar supervisory, shift lead, restaurant, hospitality, food production, fulfillment, retail, or service-driven role.
• Previous experience leading a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to stay cool, prioritize effectively, and lead under pressure.
• Passion for people, service, and personal growth.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a team-first mindset.
• Comfortable using technology and learning POS, kitchen display systems (KDS), task-management tools, digital ordering systems, and third-party delivery platforms.
• Ability to understand daily sales and operational targets and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards or willingness to obtain required food safety certification.
• Flexible schedule and adaptability to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and shift leadership to keep the store heartbeat alive.
• Oversee assigned shifts across production, fulfillment, delivery, and catering.
• Monitor order volume, ticket times, staffing, and workflow; adjust deployment as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks and take action to maintain efficiency.
• Complete opening, closing, shift-change procedures on time.
• Communicate shift performance and issues to Store Manager.
