Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at our travel plaza in Ridgefield Park, NJ. You will guide team members, ensure friendly service, and uphold food safety and brand standards on every shift.

The role emphasizes training new staff, handling cash with accuracy, and maintaining product knowledge while delivering a seamless guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling and storage.
• Prepare and complete kitchen tasks and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of concerns.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
