Job summary

The Shift Lead at Isleta Resort and Casino oversees daily store operations during opening and closing in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring cash handling procedures and proper documentation are followed. The role emphasizes security, asset protection, and accurate register activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of sales associate experience at a one stop or travel center.
• Ability to obtain gaming license and alcohol server credentials.

Responsibilities

• Supervises store personnel in the absence of the assistant manager. Responsible for addressing customer complaints and resolving problems.
• Exclusively entrusted with the keys to the store's assets throughout operational hours.
• Ensures adherence to policies and procedures by meticulously handling cash and accurately documenting transactional paperwork.
• Responsible for handling the register, and verifying totals at the beginning and end of each shift, or as necessary.
• Distributes cash drawer to sales associate at the beginning of each shift.
• Responsible for all money transactions between sales associate, TACC, and safe.
• Oversees the security system and alarms to guarantee safety of store assets.
• Prepares cashier drawers and ensures store readiness for opening.
• Directs sales on the shop floor and restocks inventory.
• Maintains neat and orderly displays and correctly tags merchandise.
