Job summary

Isleta Resort & Casino is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee store operations during opening and closing, ensuring strict cash handling and accurate documentation for daily transactions. The role includes supervising staff in the absence of management and maintaining asset security in a Pueblo-owned setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of sales experience, and be prepared to obtain required gaming and alcohol service licenses.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year sales associate experience at a one stop or travel center.
• Must be able to obtain gaming license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must obtain New Mexico Alcohol Service Certification and POIGRA Alcohol Server License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel in the absence of the assistant manager.
• Handle cash and supervise cash drawer operations.
• Ensure security of assets and proper documentation for register openings/closures.
• Manage the register, verify totals, and distribute drawers at shift start.
• Direct and conduct sales on the shop floor and restock inventory.
• Maintain neat and orderly sales displays and accurate pricing.
