Job summary

Isleta Resort and Casino is seeking a C-Store Sales Associate to engage with customers, assist with purchases of store items, gasoline, and general information, and deliver friendly, high-quality service.

This non-exempt role requires 1 year of cash handling and customer service, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. A gaming license and alcohol server certification are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Must acquire and maintain a Gaming License, through POIGRA.
• Must acquire New Mexico Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification.
• Must acquire POIGRA Alcohol Server License.

Responsibilities

• Performs transactions and serves customers with purchases of store items, gasoline, and general information.
• Provides customer service in a friendly and efficient manner while being a team player.
• Ensures store is prepped to open and follows procedures for closing.
• Preps products such as coffee, fountain drinks, and similar items.
• Stocks and maintains shelves and groceries, ensuring correct temperatures and sanitary standards.
• Operates cash registers and related equipment.
• Maintains equipment and looks after store appearance.
• Follows store policies when selling alcohol and tobacco.
