Job summary

Nuro is seeking a Shift Supervisor for its In‑Vehicle Team to build and lead a high‑performing operator group, drive onboarding, growth, and performance, and guide continuous improvement projects. You will collaborate with cross‑functional operations teams to keep the team aligned with company metrics and safety expectations.

You will manage a team of operators, conduct reviews, and support planning for feature rollouts, ensuring training readiness and effective incident response in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports.
• Strong leadership and ownership of the team’s work.
• Understanding of U.S. labor, employment and driving laws.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard operators; develop interview process and onboarding with L&D.
• Lead and manage a team of ~20 operators; coach and train.
• Conduct performance reviews and update metrics with stakeholders.
• Oversee start-of-shift and end-of-shift activities; attendance and data imports.
• Collaborate with planning to understand weekly goals and availability; provide visibility.
• Drive continuous improvement across functions to enhance efficiency and throughput.
• Share best practices with peers at other locations to drive standardization.
