Job summary

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching staff, and stepping in for the Program Manager when needed, with focus on patient care and safety in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in behavioral health preferred.
• Experience: Prior supervisory experience in a psychiatric/ residential setting preferred.
• Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationship processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Mental Health Technicians and monitor their effectiveness.
• Develop work schedules to ensure staffing meets licensure and acuity standards.
• Possess ability to perform duties of Program Manager in the absence of the manager.
• Collaborate with Leadership to implement strategic goals and objectives at the McDowell Center for Children.
