Metals USA in Horicon, WI is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor to oversee production operations and lead a team to meet quality and efficiency goals.

The role requires strong safety awareness, teamwork, and hands-on leadership to coordinate daily activities and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Proficiency reading and writing in English.
• Ability to understand and apply OSHA safety rules and procedures.
• Recognize and follow company policies in varying situations.
• Ability to read measuring devices like calipers and tapes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
• Team player with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all areas of production to ensure a cost‑effective workflow from raw materials to finished products.
• Supervise production staff, assign work, monitor quality, manage overtime, and enforce safety standards.
• Ensure all job orders meet customer specifications and quality expectations.
• Review daily production activities with the Plant Manager and communicate updates and performance results.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance to fulfill Plant Supervisor duties.
• Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
• Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching, and support development as needed.
• Collaborate with management and maintenance teams to complete projects on schedule.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to read and write English Language
