Job summary

Metals USA is seeking a Warehouse Worker for the Liberty, MO location on 1st shift. The role involves locating finished products, tagging, moving with conveyors and forklifts, and preparing items for shipment. Must be able to read measuring tapes/calipers, stand long hours, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Forklift and overhead crane experience is required. Metals USA is a leading metals processor/distributor serving multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Ability to read measuring tapes and calipers.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• M ust have forklift and overhead crane experience.

Responsibilities

• Locates products that have been completed in a first step process.
• Scales and tags product.
• Uses plant specific packaging equipment including conveyors, stackers, down enders and banders to move product.
• Transports items to the warehouse for future shipment.
• Requires operation of an overhead crane and forklift to move product.
• Identifies defects and packages the designated items.
• May perform other duties as related or assigned.
