Job summary

Metals USA Flat Rolled Group is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor for our Horicon, WI location. The role oversees production areas, coordinates workflow from raw materials to finished products, and ensures adherence to customer specifications and safety standards.

You will supervise production staff, review daily activities with the Plant Manager, and drive continuous improvement. The company emphasizes growth, competitive benefits, and a safe, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes in English.
• Understands and applies Safety Rules and OSHA standards.
• Judges situations and follows company policies.
• Reads measuring tape and caliper accurately.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all production areas for efficient workflow.
• Supervise production employees: assign work, monitor quality, manage overtime, enforce safety.
• Ensure orders meet customer specs and quality expectations.
• Review daily production with Plant Manager; communicate updates and performance.
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate policies clearly.
• Coach and develop employees' performance as needed.
• Collaborate with maintenance to complete projects on schedule.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and practices.

• Ability to read and write English Language

• Evaluate employee performance and competencies; provide coaching, feedback, and development as needed.
• Collaborate with management and maintenance teams to ensure projects, repairs, and production goals are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Support a safe work environment by promoting and enforcing safety policies and best practices.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
