Job Overview

Burger King Shift Supervisor

Assists the Management Team in increasing customer count, customer satisfaction, and controlling costs while increasing profitability in the daily operations of a Burger King restaurant. Improves Guest satisfaction through financial controls, operations, direction of Team Members, and compliance within the scope of an assigned shift. Operates under the direct management of the General Manager and helps lead the restaurant team. Interacts with Team Members, management, outside vendors, field operations, and Guests.

Responsibilities
  • Manage restaurant operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Provide clear production direction to Team Members.
  • Lead by example, ensuring smooth shift operations.
  • Encourage teamwork and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Motivate Team Members to exceed Guest expectations with food and service in a clean environment.
  • Address Guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Train, direct, and motivate Team Members at each workstation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, security, and company policies.
  • Report violations and implement short-term solutions as needed.
  • Maintain safety and security standards, including loss control procedures.
  • Complete shift checklists and procedures related to cash, inventory, and scheduling.
  • Perform duties as outlined in the Team Member job description.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
  • Proficiency with computers and calculators.
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Own a vehicle with required insurance coverage.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Complete internal certification programs.
Physical Working Conditions

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, occasional crawling and climbing. Ability to lift/move 50 pounds. Exposure to video terminals, driving hazards, long standing periods, and varying environmental conditions. Must have good hearing, vision, and manual dexterity. Work may involve exposure to loud noise, wet/humid conditions, heat, and electrical hazards. The description is not exhaustive and duties may change.
