Job summary

Vicious Biscuit in Summerville, SC is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the floor for a fast-casual breakfast brand. You will run shifts, coach hourly team members in real time, and uphold Vicious standards while delivering Southern hospitality.

This full-time role offers 40 hours/week with room to grow as we expand into new states, plus benefits, PTO, and paid training. Early mornings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or managerial experience.
• Experience handling guest complaints and coaching hourly team members in the moment.
• Experience directing during busy shifts and supporting trainers/new hires.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run shifts with full floor ownership, assigning positions and delegating tasks.
• Coach and develop team members across FOH and BOH.
• Support guest experience and resolve issues quickly with Southern hospitality.
• Execute opening/closing duties and maintain building safety.

Shift Supervisor — Vicious Biscuit

What You Need

• 2+ years of leadership or managerial experience
• Experience handling guest complaints and coaching hourly team members in the moment
• Experience giving direction during a busy shift and supporting trainers/new hires
• Valid driver's license (or able to obtain one)
• Managerial ServSafe certification
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available for early morning shifts and weekends
• FOH/BOH, expo, or opening/closing experience a plus
• Fast-casual, brunch, breakfast, or high-volume experience a plus

The Role

As a Shift Supervisor, you're the bridge between training and leadership — running the floor, coaching in real time, and holding the team to Vicious standards. You'll:

• Lead and run shifts with full floor ownership, assigning positions and delegating tasks
• Coach and develop team members in the moment across FOH and BOH
• Support the guest experience and resolve issues quickly, modeling Southern hospitality
• Monitor speed, quality, and cleanliness throughout the shiftExecute opening/closing duties and maintain building safety and security
• Run any position in the restaurant with full knowledge of restaurant flow
• Support training and development of team members, trainers, and Certified Trainers
