Rock Spot Climbing is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will oversee floor staff, manage transactions, and promote products and events while aligning with management direction.

Qualifications

• Experience in indoor rock climbing and top rope belaying.
• Previous supervisory experience; detail oriented and organized.
• Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-class customer service to members and guests in person and over the phone.
• Drive superior sales by matching guests with products and services.
• Provide quality coaching and maintain a safe, positive gym atmosphere while supervising floor staff.
• Oversee facility safety and cleanliness during opening/closing shifts; manage registers and stock.
• Pursue targeted sales by engaging with members and guests to recommend relevant offerings.
• Utilize multiple computer platforms to complete transactions and daily tasks with accuracy.
• Keep gym signage and social media up to date and effective.

Job description

The Shift Supervisor at Rock Spot Climbing is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to members and guests. While overseeing the day to day operations of the gym as the supervisor on duty they will handle all sales, coordinate floor staff, and promote relevant products and events. All activities shall be conducted under the direction of the local management team.

• First Class Customer Service - Make customers of all levels of experience feel welcome in person and over the phone while promoting relevant gym products and services.
• Superior Sales - Strive to meet and exceed local sales goals by matching guests with the products we offer that best meet their needs.
• Quality Coaching - Maintaining a safe, positive and productive atmosphere while supervising a team of floor staff.
• Facility Stewardship - Assume responsibility for the safety/cleanliness of the facility and equipment while opening or closing, including registers, retail stock, and gym floor.
• Targeted Sales - Learn about members and guests through conversation and connect them with the products and services that are most relevant to them.
• Administrative Excellence - Utilize multiple computer platforms to perform all transactions and tasks with accuracy and precision.
• Marketing Minded - Ensure in gym signage and social media are up to date and effective
