Job summary

Moe’s is seeking a Shift Supervisor to operate the restaurant in the absence of the Training/General Manager or Assistant General Manager. You will supervise shifts, train crew, and ensure quality, service, and cleanliness align with Moe’s standards.

Responsibilities include payroll and inventory control, maintaining reports, and enforcing cash procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold safety, sanitation, and security policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work most shifts and weekends.
• Certified through Moe’s training program.
• Complete the 30-day probationary period.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome to Moe’s.
• Supervise shifts to uphold quality, service and cleanliness.
• Train crew under T/GM or AGM guidance.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with management and team.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to discuss procedures and promotions.
• Manage payroll to meet labor cost standards.
• Control inventory to meet GAP/Variance standards.
• Maintain reports and records per standards and regulations.
• Ensure building and equipment are properly maintained.
• Enforce cash procedures during shifts, including counts and deposits.
• Uphold sanitation, safety and security policies.
• Represent Moe’s with professionalism and uphold company values.

Assist in achieving sales growth through maintaining the highest standards in quality, service and cleanliness.Eligibility:Must be at least 18 years old (or meet State regulated age to sell alcohol if applicable), be available to work most shifts and weekends, be certified through the Moe’s training program and complete the 30-day probationary period.Job Functions:➢ Enthusiastically greet all guests with a hearty “Welcome to Moe’s” when they enter the restaurant.➢ Supervise shifts effectively to maintain company standards for quality, service and cleanliness.➢ Train and develop crew under the direction of the T/GM or AGM.➢ Maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with management and team.➢ Conduct crew meetings prior to shifts to discuss operational procedures, promotions, security, training, safety, etc.➢ Control payroll to meet company labor cost standards.➢ Control inventory to meet company GAP/Variance standards.➢ Maintain reports and records as specified by company standards and in compliance of State and Federal regulations.➢ Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning and preventative maintenance procedures.➢ Responsible for adhering and enforcing all cash procedures while in charge of a shift including cash counts, safe counts, bank deposits and assigning employees to cash drawers.➢ Ensure personal appearance always meets company standards and display professionalism.➢ Recognize and adhere to all sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for all.➢ Consistently exhibit the actions/behaviors which best demonstrate Moe’s Vision and Values; perform other tasks as directed by management; and at all times represent Moe’s as a professional in every aspect of performance.
