Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor in Austin, TX to oversee manufacturing operations on a shift, driving volume, quality and cost goals.

You will lead a team, evaluate performance, coach operators, coordinate with maintenance, and participate in budgeting and scheduling. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3 years of operations experience, with shift hours 3:00pm–11:30pm, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• 3 years of operations experience.
• Ability to read, analyze data and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple production lines and ensure line performance against volume, quality and cost goals.
• Evaluate daily plant performance and recommend operating changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Manage and coach a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness targets.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and guide operators to improve performance and capability.
• Collaborate with engineers on plant improvements and project proposals.
• Provide technical and operational input to project teams and interface with maintenance.
