Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor in Salt Lake City, UT. You will direct manufacturing operations on a shift, ensuring achievement of volume, quality and cost goals, under the supervision of the Production Manager.

You will lead a team of engineers and operators, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is typically required.
• Strong reading, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate general office software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
• Familiarity with production metrics and data interpretation.
• Willingness to learn Flex policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct manufacturing operations on a shift or group of lines to meet volume, quality and cost goals.
• Evaluate plant performance and advise on changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Guide a team of professionals to meet quality, cost, delivery and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and coach operators to improve capability.
• Contribute to plant improvements and develop project proposals with engineers.
• Provide technical and operational input to project teams and maintenance interfaces.
• Assist in budgeting and managing department expenses.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and ensure policy compliance.
